The SIAM Washington-Baltimore Section serves SIAM members in all areas including and surrounding the Washington D.C. and Baltimore Metro Areas. This includes counties in Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware.
The purpose of this section is to enhance the communication among the section members, promote the collaboration for both basic research and applications of mathematics to industry and science, represent applied and computational mathematics in the D.C.- Baltimore region, and support the SIAM mission in the this region of the U.S.
The Washington-Baltimore Section regularly hosts evening events consisting of dinner followed by an expository lecture.

Rules of Procedure
The workshop will take place on April 2-3, 2020 at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. The goal of ECOM is to introduce students and early-career researchers to current trends in optimization as well as to provide a strong networking environment between academia, industry, and the national laboratories.
The meeting took place on September 25, 2019 at Virginia Tech in Arlington, Virginia.
