Your support in staying at The Davenport Grand, Autograph Collection helps keep the conference costs down, which directly affects your registration fees. SIAM guarantees the hotel that we will fill a certain number of “room nights” (rooms per night) during the conference. SIAM incurs penalties if too many attendees opt to stay in other hotels in the area or neglect to indicate to the hotel that they are with the SIAM conference. If SIAM fails to fill the contracted room block, SIAM is charged a hefty penalty which could impact future registration fees.
Reservations
SIAM is holding a block of rooms at The Davenport Grand, Autograph Collection. These rooms are being held on a first-come, first-served basis at the following discounted rates. Please be aware the room block fills quickly, so we suggest you make your hotel and travel plans early.
The group rate is guaranteed until the cutoff date or until the room block is full. If rooms are available after the cutoff date, they will be offered at the best available rate.
Reservation Deadline – February 1, 2019 (or until the room block is filled)
Single/Double Room Rate* $149 per night plus 12.1% tax/fees
Government Rate $105 per night plus 12.1% tax/fees
Reduced student room rates are available at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Spokane City Center
Student Rate $134 per night plus 12.1% tax/fees
Student ID must be presented upon check-in. SIAM has negotiated a limited number of rooms at a reduced rate. Please book early as these rooms sell out quickly!
Room rates include complimentary internet access.
All rooms based on availability.
All rates are subject to state and local occupancy taxes.
While the Daily Destination Amenity fee ($10/night) has been waived for SIAM attendees within the block, this fee will appear on the website and on all confirmation emails. The charge will appear as “Group- Association NODAF” which translates to “Group Reservation, No Destination Amenity Fee”. Charges will be reversed at check-out. Please review your bill carefully!
In the event that you find a lower room rate, please make the reservation at the lower rate and notify SIAM immediately. By doing this you will receive the lower rate and be counted towards the SIAM room block. However, please be aware by booking outside the SIAM room block at a lower rate, you may not receive the same benefits as rooms reserved in the SIAM room block (i.e complimentary Internet access).

Do not make your reservation online using the hotel’s general web site, as this will not allow you to obtain the SIAM group rate. Be sure to use the online reservation link above if making reservations online. Remember to get your confirmation number!
Reservations are not confirmed until acknowledged in writing by the hotel or verified by phone. Be sure to get a confirmation number from the hotel and be prepared to provide that number to the front desk clerk upon check-in at the hotel.
Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel your reservation, you must contact the hotel prior to 6:00 PM on the scheduled arrival date to avoid a cancellation fee. You can contact the hotel at +1-800-899-1482 (USA and Canada) or +1 509-458-3330. Remember to get a cancellation number!

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and
check-out time is 12:00 p.m.
Deposit
The Davenport Grand, Autograph Collection requires a credit card to confirm and guarantee your reservation. The hotel will send out e-mail confirmations upon request.
Health Facilities
Hotel guests will have complimentary use of the fitness center at The Davenport Grand.
